CaratNET™ covers several features of Carat™ in relation to the SWIFTNet Real-Time Cash Reporting.

With a client/server architecture, the Server module will assist the bank in providing responses to SWIFTNet Cash Reporting messages, and in communicating to the Account Owner Banks or Corporations, update their account status and all booking entries, as parameterized or requested by the Account Owner.

The Client module will automatically integrate the information received over SWIFTNet Cash Reporting Messages into CaratNOS™, our Nostro Account reconciliation system, and thus will provide the Treasurer with very valuable information about available balances, etc.

When getting balance information over SWIFTNet, CaratNET™ verifies the concordance between the received information and the balances calculated by the application.

CaratNET™ provides facilities both to receive "Pushed" information and also to send "Pull" commands in order to get data at intervals. This function is totally automated through the CaratAUT™ module.

The Cash Reporting Messages may be considered as final, or may be confirmed by the next day's statement.
