CTS LM Family: Document Encoders, Readers, Scanners & Sorters

 

Amount encoding, sorting and all related operations which are often outsourced can be completed at central ot branch level with CTS's flexible LM100 reader - encoder systems, including optional feeder, scanner and sorter modules.

LM100 systems are compact and versatile: the basic unit can be even used at the teller for manual document feeding, reading and encoding, and it is connected via serial RS-232C interface.   

 

LM100M

Document and Cheque Reading & Encoding

The LM100M is a versatile peripheral for its small dimensions and for the high-speed capabilities. Is based on the high definition ETR printing technology for MICR, OCR code line and Barcode encoding. The selection of the fonts can be realized by simple software command. Also other fonts can be printed upon request. OCR reading unit for OCRA, OCRB and E13B; Magnetic reading unit for CMC7 and E13B and Barcode reading unit (option). Document scanning module (option) for image capture.

An automatic document feeder (option) and a modular 3+1 compartment sorter (option) expandable up to 9+1 compartments, make this the ideal device for front and back office use. Connection to the system is made by using a serial RS232C interface. In case the scanning module ISS 122 (option) is provided, connection is made through an SCSI-2 interface. Low noise encoding system by using the high definition ETR printing technology, for a real multipoint document processing.

 

LM100I

Document and Cheque Reading & Encoding

Amount encoding at branch level is a widely appreciated solution for branches that do not wish to rely on a service center for the completion of the check processing phases. LM100I ("impact") is specifically developed for E13B markets, and uses a high-definition and low-noise 24-pin print headLM100I system is compact and versatile: the basic unit can be even used at the teller for manual document feeding, reading and encoding, and it is connected via serial RS-232C interface.

Optional modules can increase the performance and flexibility of the reader-encoder, turning it into a ideal back-office item processing system. Options include an automatic document feeder, a duplex (front & rear) imaging module and up to three 3-bin sorter modules for a max. total of 10 sorting bins (3X3 + reject bin). In case the scanning module ISS 122 (option) is included, connection is made through a SCSI-2 interface for more efficient data transfer. Optional add-ons include an OCR read head, a barcode read head, an ink-jet endorsement printer and two roller stamps mounted on the ISS 122 module.

 

LM100R

Document and Cheque Reading & Encoding

LM100R is a single feed document encoder. Is based on the high definition ETR printing technology for MICR, OCR code line and Barcode encoding. The selection of the fonts can be realized by simple software command. Also other fonts can be printed upon request. Connection to the system is made by using a serial RS232C interface. LM100R is a low noise encoding system using the high definition ETR printing technology, for a real multipoint document processing.
