Document and Cheque Reading & Scanning

The LS 100 is a peripheral suited to handle banking documents. It can read MICR CMC7/E13B or OCR code lines and scan both sides of the document. Options include a high-resolution ink-jet printer working on the back side of the document and a self-inking front stamp, as well as a magnetic badge reader. Connection to the system is by USB, while future developments include connection through Ethernet port (serial RS232C as option). 

Document images and code lines may be transmitted in real time or collected in the unit’s memory for a later download. LS100 offers a small footprint, friendly design and proves particularly quiet and easy to use, thus ideal applications are in banking (teller environment), retail and SoHo (remote banking applications).

New LS100IP: Internet Enable Cheque Scanner

Designed to enable multiple users to share one or more LS100IP units over a LAN. Featuring front and rear cameras (image scanning), automatic document  feeder, document endorsement, MICR reader and throughputs up to 52 document per minute - dpm.

Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security feature is uniquely available in this model together with the ability to host on board web-based client applications. LS100IP supports Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista as well as all Linux flavors.

The LS200 offers full functionality for front office document processing applications, developed with state-of-the art technology. The special 8-shaped paper path allows scanning of both sides of the document in a single pass and with a single camera. A special functionality allows OCR/ICR decoding of up to 5 printed fields directly on board. A wide choice of options allows to meet different application needs: single and automatic document feeding, MICR reader (CMC7/E13B), barcode reader, void stamp and high-resolution ink-jet endorsement printer. 

The output bay can be pre-configured with two sorting bins of equal or different capacity or a single large bin. Connection to the system is by SCSI-2 or USB interface.

LS200 has been discontinued for sales in 2007 (EOL: End Of Life) and replaced by the innovative LS150 model

CAMILLA extends the capabilities for managing documents with different formats and thickness at the teller, by taking advantage of the know-how and technologies employed in the scanning solutions for electronic check conversion. 

With a throughput of 250 mm/sec that ensures high performances, and a footprint not larger than a compact desktop users will have an optimal all-in-one solution for managing cheques, payment slips, plastic cards, passbooks,  passports, contracts and other documents up to a A4 size.

The added feature of front monochrome thermo-graphic printing on a band of 54 mm, allows flexible graphic stamping on processed documents. The printing head can be mechanically adjusted on the whole width of the document. Fields of application for CAMILLA are the front offices of financial, utilities and government organizations where the load and variety of documents that are processed daily would be best managed by such a powerful and flexible peripheral.
