The
LS510 / LS515 is a peripheral suited to handle
banking documents, ideal for middle-office branch use
and also suitable for teller or back-office
applications. The LS510 / LS515 can read MICR
(CMC7/E13B) code lines, OCR code lines and barcode,
and scan both sides of the document capturing up to
4
images - front & back “brutto” (neutral images)
+ front & back “netto” (red dropout images for OCR/ICR
machine and hand print decoding requirements) - in a
single pass. Optional functions include document stamping (front & back roller stamps) and variable
endorsing
by ink-jet printer. The LS510 / LS515 have two
programmable sorting bins and connection to the
system is by a fast SCSI-2 (510) or fast USB
(515) interface.
The
peripheral offer s maximum application flexibility by
combining the different functions to be performed on the
documents, which can also be moved back and forth on the
paper path if required by processing needs.

The
LS800 is able to
read MICR (CMC7 / E13B), OCR code-lines on
board and Barcode that is decoded via software on the host.
LS800 can scan both sides of the document with
16/256 shades of grey in 100/200 dpi in a speed up to
120 documents per minute - dpm. Optional modules increase the performance and
flexibility of the reader / scanner, turning it into a
ideal back-office item processing system.
Optional
modules include an automatic document feeder and up to
three 3-bin sorter modules for max. total of 10 sorting
bins (3X3 + reject bin). Optional functions also include
printing by a high resolution, 52 nozzles, height
adjustable, ink-jet printer on rear side
of the document before back side scanning. Connection to
the host system is by fast USB.
