CPS/Validator™ is a system for validating the form, the layout and the
code line printing
quality of bank and private cheques.
|

Hellenic
Bank Association - HBA and European
Central Bank have issued specifications on
the form, the layout and the code line printing quality of cheques
that are drown in EURO - € currency.
Operations
departments of banks that
permit qualified customers to print in house their own private
cheques using account numbers and cheque numbers given by the bank,
can use
CPS/Validator™ in order
to validate the compliance of these cheques with
HBA,
ECB and
Euro-cheque
specifications.

The system can be
use also in cases where the bank has outsourced
cheque
book printing to a printing house. In this case the bank
will use the system for sampling check over the printing
house production.
The system
consists of a document scanner and the accompanied
software application.
